![]() ![]() Paradoxically, the vast amount of information available is often be the biggest barrier to getting started. From simply socializing online with friends to real-world proficiency training, flight simulation has something for every avgeek out there! Anyway, more info than you may of needed. The flight simulation community is more popular than ever. If you do use Spad, like the one post said remove the Logictech drivers, they conflict. G1000, that is another story.Īll that said, MS2020 is still new compared to xplane or P3D so it will get better over time. I have been working with Spad for about 5 years now and have 90% of all my aircrafts assigned and working with the default and 3rd party planes in P3D and Ms 2020. ![]() Maybe I should create a YouTube video on all this. Sorry I am traveling so saying all this out of memory. They have all the things needed like powering up the battery that the MSFS 2020 or simconnect do not work Carenado planes usually start with ASD182 for the C182. When I install a new 3rd party aircraft, I run the LVars wizzard ans a lot of new commands area added. Now if what you need to do is say start the engine, I use the send option instead of such as toggle starter 1. The conditions also in the change data do not have to be used. I select that one and set the parameter to 1 so it comes on on the turn switch on option. So for example there is one called set master battery. Moreso with add ons like the carenado planes. ![]() In Spad, some of the online defaults do not work with the default MSFS 2020 planes. This I assign the aircraft to that profile either by reindexing when doing assignment aircraft or when it Spad pops up with the dialog, aircraft not assign. ![]() I create a new profile for the plane, lets use the C172 as a example.Hope I gave you the information you needed. Before the update everytning I had worked OK with FS2020 and X-Plane. This all started when FS2020 was updated at the same time as Windows 10. I use SPAD, Axis and Ohs, or FSUIPC plus the drivers from Logitech.Īll Peripherals are on powered USB3 Hubs. Most everything works fine in X-Plane not so much in FS2020. It is the “gee why did this work before the last update but now sometimes works and sometimes not” that really gets to me. GoFlight GF-TQ6 Seems to work OK in both FS2020 and X-Plane Have not tried it on X-Plane but it did work. GoFlight MCP-Pro worked in FS2020 until two updates ago then stopped working. Logitech Switch Panel - Sometimes works sometimes not in FS2020 but works OK in X-Plane Logitech Multi Panel - Sometimes works sometimes not in FS2020 but works OK in X-Plane Logitech Radio Panel - Sometimes works sometimes not in FS2020 but works OK in X-Plane Precision Flight Controls on my IPAD - Functions normally in both X-Plane and FS-2020 Your options are to raise bug/issue in the forums and collect votes or ask a question for the next Q&A live stream but before that you might want to expand on the issues you are having here, maybe the community can help.Ĭirrus Yoke - Functions normally in both X-Plane and FS-2020 There hasn’t been any roadmap update for peripherals support but ninja updates have been included in patches which have improved the mapping experience and there has also been new profiles added. If it’s just a mapping issue then you only need to figure that out once. If you can’t get a peripheral working then raise a bug with Zendesk. What is it you are saying exactly? You have a peripheral which doesn’t work with MSFS or is it that it simply doesn’t have a profile? What scale are we looking at here, are you building a home cockpit or is it one or two devices which are not compatible? Thanks in advance for any and all answers… I will continue to use FS2020 but if I want a real flying experience I guess I will have to go back to X-plane if I want to use all my peripherals. ![]()
